FITNESS CLASSES AT TEAM OC
STRENGTH
This 60 minute class uses barbells and hand weights to strengthen and sculpt all your major muscles. This class uses simple athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls to build muscles and burn fat. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness and experience.
STEP AEROBICS
In this 60 minute cardio class, you will burn fat and build cardiovascular endurance using traditional step moves. This class is for anyone who wants a high energy, motivating, calorie blasting workout.
COMBO
Is it difficult to find the time for both cardio and strength training? In this 60 minute combo program, you will have a 30 minute segment of muscle-toning weight training and 30 minutes of step aerobics. The combination of weights and aerobics allows for optimal fat-burning results.
KID AND TEEN FIT
The youth fitness program incorporates strength, aerobic and flexibility training to enhance the performance of our students in their discipline. We also encourage any child and young adult (ages 9-18) to take this class for over all fitness, even if they aren’t an existing student. This 50 minute work out is not only building strength and increasing cardiovascular endurance, it trains the body’s muscles to develop correctly eliminating postural deviations and muscular imbalances. Through proper instruction, your child will learn how to engage their core and their core muscles throughout the entire class. This will assist in promoting good posture and proper technique. Lastly, this is a class for everyone to become active, improve health and most of all, HAVE FUN!
STRETCH
In this 30 minute class we will be stretching your bodies from head to toe. Due to our lifestyle, occupations and postural deviations, everyone has muscles that are too tight leading to opposite muscles that are too lengthened. Through stretching on regular basis our muscles will have a balanced length-tension ratio that will leave you looking taller, more flexible and feeling relaxed.
PHYSICAL PHUNK
This 60 minute low-impact cardio workout consists of creative hip hop, dance moves. Physical Phunk is a great class for anyone who just wants to get moving. With motivating music from diverse genres, you’ll be sure to have fun. We welcome you to join our energetic instructors and get phunky!
PILATES
This class will help to improve your mental and physical well-being. By doing Pilates you will increase flexibility, and strengthen your muscles. Pilates uses controlled movements in the form of mat exercises to strengthen your “core”. Pilates also helps to increase blood circulation. For decades, it's been the exercise of choice for dancers and gymnasts (and now Hollywood actors).
