Costumes:
Your child's measurements will be taken in early December and costumes will be ordered the first week in January. All costume payments must be paid in full by January 1st, 2010 in order to have your costume order placed. Costumes are typically handed out in Early May.
Tickets and Flowers:
Tickets and flowers go on sale in early May at the front desk.
Drop off:
1 hour before the show children will be signed in to the right of the stage. Once you drop your child off they will remain back stage until after the show. Once the show has commenced you can go to the right of the stage for sign-out. We will have several Team OC directors and staff members backstage at all times to care for and attend to the children. If your child is in more then one dance we will assist them in changing. On the sign out sheet will be an area for you to leave a cell-phone number should we need to contact you during the show to come backstage.
 Mandatory Class Week and Picture Day:
Class pictures and individual portraits will take place during regular class times on Monday, June 7, Tuesday, June 8, Thursday, June 10, Friday, June 11, and Saturday, June 12. If your class is on Wednesday, June 9, please come Thursday, June 10 at 3:30 p.m.
A reservation fee is required for individual portraits. To sign up and pay your fee online, simply go to www.mydancephotographer.com and click the deposit button on the bottom of the screen.
Hair and Make-up:
It is required that all students have their hair styled in a neat and professional way for the recital. Hair can be worn in any style that you wish as long as part of it is up and out of the dancers face. If you child is in a Ballet 1+ class they will be required to wear their hair in a bun.
If your child is 5 years or under, you have the option of using make-up. Stage lights tend to wash out the dancers faces and we want to be able to see their gorgeous smiles from the audience. For young children, just a little lipstick, blush and mascara will do. For students ages 6-up, full stage make-up is strongly suggested. A hair and make-up flyer will be handed out during class before the recital.
