GYMNASTICS ACADEMY


Gymnastics, like physical fitness and good health is a yearly program. Skills and motor developments are taught in our fundamentally sound, logical, progressive classes. The mastery of basic skills leads to increased development and advancement through the levels of the "USA-Gymnastics Junior Olympic Program" that is implemented in our skill sets. Consistent participation is recommended for the full benefits of the sport. Our program follows the traditional school year, with opportunities to continue advancing through the summer and/or attend camps.


TEAM OC Academy Gymnastic Classes


For girls and boys aged 5 and older 55 minute and 80 minute classes meet one or two days per week

Our instructors and coaches believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential.  Safety is very important to us and we take pride in the measures that we have taken in order to provide a great gymnastic experience for each and every child.  Our program directors are highly qualified and trained in childhood education.  Ongoing education is provided to all of our staff.

TEAM OC Advanced Academy Gymnastic Classes (Jr. Pre-team)


For girls and boys aged 5 and older 55 minute and 80 minute classes meet one or two days per week
 

These classes are designed to provide a more challenging environment for students who are advancing through the progressive skill sets and offer an accelerated curriculum for experienced girl gymnasts. Classes meet two days per week. Instructor recommendation required.

Dress Code
Wearing the correct attire to class is important.  Student’s clothing should be comfortable and permit a full range of motions for safety.

Girls: Leotards (without skirts attached) are preferred.  Shorts or leggings must have an elastic waist without snaps, buttons or zippers.  All shirts must be long enough to stay tucked in.  Students participate barefooted.  Hair must be secured and pulled back away from the student’s face.

Boys:  Sport shorts or pants with elastic waist are required (no snaps, buckles or zippers are allowed).  All shirts must be long enough to stay tucked in.  Students participate barefooted.
