Jaclyn Butterfield

Jaclyn Butterfield has been dancing for 20 years and has been dancing professionally, instructing and choreographing in the LA, Riverside and Orange County areas for 10 years. She was chosen out of 100,000 dancers to be one of sixty contestants on MTV's "The Wade Robson Project". In addition, she has also danced professionally for Fox Video Countdown on Fox Family, Access Hollywood, Disneyland, Dodgers Stadium and Urban Force Hip Hop Troupe. Her choreography has won numerous awards and has been recognized at both the local and national levels. In addition, Jaclyn is frequently featured as a guest choreographer for the Laguna Beach High School dance program.

While obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Jaclyn completed an advanced research project proving that dance can be used as therapy in the depressed elderly and is currently making strides towards publication. She also prides herself on continuing her own training in order to deliver the most current styles of dance to her students and staff. She currently trains at master conventions with Marty Kudelka, Mia Michaels, Leslie Scott, Wade Robson, Chris Judd, Dave Scott etc. Her students have gone on to work professionally in stage, music video and the commercial industries.

Devon Marlink of Sickstep
 

 

Currently living and working in Los Angeles, Devon has worked as a dancer on projects for such artists as J-Lo and The A-teens, and has been featured in commercial ad campaigns for Heineken Beer, Bally's Total Fitness, and Honda USA. Devon has also worked as a choreographer for the Calvin Klein "Crave" release promo tour, the Miss Asia USA pageant, and the Vina Morales US tour "Revealed." He has most recently been seen on tour with American Idol's Jasmine Trias, and can be seen "locking" in Jamie Kennedy's recent comedy film "Kickin' It Old School."

The director and founder of the hip hop performance troupe "SickStep" (which has been featured on both So You Think You Can Dance and America's Got Talent), Devon has a familiarity with a wide range of hip hop dance styles -- from commercial hip hop most commonly seen in music videos to freestyle dances such as locking, house, and bboyin'. Strongly influenced by hip-hop culture, he embraces all forms of dance and movement. Devon has been teaching dance almost as long as he has been performing, having led Master-class workshops throughout the US and Europe. An instructor that has previously taught at acclaimed Hollywood studios such as Hama's Dance Center and The Millenium Dance Complex, he is excited to share his knowledge and expertise with Team OC.

Michele McCutcheon
 

Michele McCutcheon has been dancing for eighteen years, with over eight years of teaching experience in the disciplines of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theater.  In 2008 she received a Bachelor of Performing Arts in dance performance from the prestigious Oklahoma City University, graduating with the honor of summa cum laude.  There, she choreographed and assisted faculty with praise and high honors in the annual choreography showcase, Christmas, and spring shows.  Upon graduation, Michele moved to Las Vegas to pursue her professional career, where she danced in several notable Las Vegas shows. She also toured all over the country with grammy award winning artist Sharam in his Get Wild tour. 


Aside from her professional career, Michele was also honored with the exclusive one year Dance with the Force scholarship at the Edge dance studio in Hollywood, California, where she studied under numerous accomplished artists in the dance industry.  Michele is excited to be a part of Team OC and to share her love and knowledge of dance with the next generation of dance artists.


Natalie Brunelle
 

Natalie graduated from Wagner College in New York with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Performance/ Speech. She has been performing professional as a dancer and singer for the past 9 years and is a member of the Actors Equity Association. She has performed all over the country from New Haven, Connecticut at the Goodspeed Opera House to Atlanta Georgia at the Famous Fox Theater and at the Fullerton Opera house in California. She also lived and performed in Japan for 8 months at Tokyo Disney. Natalie is a great addition to Team OC and currently teaches Ballet/Pointe, Jazz, Musical theater, Pop Stars and private voice lessons.

Erica Holland
 

Erica began her dancing training at the age of 3 studying ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, lyrical, Pointe, musical theater and modern. Erica has studied dance at various dance colleges throughout California and also directed and choreographed the spring dance concert at Golden west College. She has been dancing professionally since the age of 18 and was featured in music videos and shows on MTV. Erica teaches jazz, lyrical, hip hop and ballet .

Audrey Benson
 

Audrey is a favorite of many Team OC students. She brings her love of hip hop to all who join her classes. She was raised in Arizona and moved to California to pursue her dream of dancing and choreographing. She is currently represented by DDO Artists Agency and has well-rounded training in Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and Modern. She currently teaches in both Los Angeles and Costa Mesa. She has been a part of and formed many teams and currently performs with the prestigious Boogiezone online community team Breed and an all girl group named Essence. Audrey is a great teacher and a rare talent and Team OC is very fortunate to have Audrey on Staff.

Brenna Traynor
 

Brenna Traynor has been working for Team OC since February of 2008. She comes from a strong classical ballet background, having trained in Olympia, WA, for 19 years, New York for 3 years and is currently pursuing a degree in dance pedagogy and performance at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA, with plans to transfer to California State University, Long Beach. She is a current member of Watson Dance Company, a local modern company, based in Placentia, CA.  She was a soloist dancer for Ballet Northwest with roles such as Snow Queen and Chinese in The Nutcracker, Carabosse in The Sleeping Beauty and Kostha (aka Kashchei) in The Firebird. Brenna has taught developmental/creative movement and beginning ballet previously at Johansen's School of Ballet as well as the Fantasia Twirling Corps for 6 years in Olympia, WA. She is looking forward to continuing her career in dance here at Team OC!
