TRAMPOLINE & POWER TUMBLING ACADEMY

Recreational classes provide students with an excellent introduction to Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Power Tumbling. This program is designed to promote balance, coordination, body and spatial awareness while introducing the fundamentals of trampoline, double-mini trampoline and power tumbling. Progressive developmental skills are based on the USA Gymnastics Trampoline & Tumbling Jr. Olympic Curriculum.

We offer Beginning classes providing instruction on trampoline and double-mini trampoline as well as  combination classes which include instruction on trampoline, double-mini trampoline and power tumbling.

Intermediate and Advanced classes are also offered for students who have mastered the fundamental skills at the beginning and advanced beginning levels.

Students are placed according to age and level. All classes are co-ed.

BEGINNER INTRODUCTION TO T&T - USAG Level 1

Using introductory curriculum, this class offers instruction to the student who is new to trampoline and tumbling. This is a preparatory class for Level 2

ADVANCED BEGINNER T&T - USAG Level 2

This class is for the more experienced beginner. This class features similar curriculum to Level 1 with the addition of more challenging skills. This is a preparatory class for Level 3 Intermediate classes.

INTERMEDIATE T&T - USAG Level 3

This class is for students who have mastered the Level 1 & 2 curriculum. More difficult skills are introduced as are advanced skill drills in preparation for the Advanced Academy and/or pre-competitive levels. Students may receive Advanced Academy or Pre-Team invitations from this class.

TRAMPOLINE & POWER TUMBLING ADVANCED ACADEMY

The Team OC T&T Advanced Academy is designed to prepare students for future competitive team placement or challenge the more mature student who may not necessarily have a team goal in mind. Students may be invited to accelerated classes upon meeting the required skill pre-requisites, instructor recommendation and Director approval.

PRE-COMPETITIVE & COMPETITVE T&T

Our pre-competitive program offers instruction for boys and girls ages 5 and older who have progressed through the required USAG curriculum and are preparing for future placement on our competitive gymnastics team.

Our competitive team offers comprehensive training and competition for USAG Levels 4-Elite. Placement on the team rquires approval by the Head Coach.

Pre-competitive and competitive team training days and time vary by level.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons are available to Team OC members who are currently enrolled in a minimum of one class per week. Please contact our front desk staff for more information.

Required Dress Code

For safety purposes, proper attire is required to be worn during all T&T classes held at Team OC.

NO jewlery, jeans dresses or other clothing with snaps, buttons or belt loops is allowed to be worn during class!

Female Students: Leotard, cotton ankle socks, bike or cheer-type shorts. Hair must be secured away from face with elastic hair bands and flap hair clips if necessary.

Male Students: Stretchable athletic shorts (length above the knees) with an appropriate stretchable undergarment, T-shirt, cotton ankle socks.

To maintain modesty and avoid embarrassment, please assist your child with his/her choice of attire and undergarments prior to class participation. Team OC is a co-ed facility.
