TRAMPOLINE & POWER TUMBLING ACADEMY

Recreational Academy classes provide students with an excellent introduction to Trampoline and Tumbling. This program is designed to promote balance, coordination, body and spatial awareness while introducing the fundamentals of trampoline, double-mini trampoline and power tumbling. Progressive developmental skills are based on the USA Gymnastics Trampoline & Tumbling Jr. Olympic Curriculum. All classes are co-ed by age and level.

BEGINNER INTRODUCTION TO T&T - USAG Level 1


Ages 5-10 Years

  

This class offers introductory curriculum to the student who in new to trampoline and tumbling.
This is a preparatory class for Level 2

ADVANCED BEGINNER T&T - USAG Level 2


Ages 6-10 Years

  

This class is for the more experienced beginner between the ages of 6-10. This class features the similar curriculum to Level 1 with the addition of more challenging skills. This is a preparatory class for Level 3.

INTERMEDIATE T&T - USAG Level 1


Ages 9-13 Years

  

This class is for students between the ages of 9-13 who have mastered the Level 1 & 2 curriculum. More difficult skills are introduced as are advanced skill drills in preparation for the Advanced Academy and pre-competitive levels. Students may receive Advanced Academy or Pre-Team invitations from this class.

TRAMPOLINE & POWER TUMBLING ADVANCED ACADEMY

The Team OC T&T Advanced Academy is designed to prepare students for future competitive team placement or challenge the more mature student who may not necessarily have a team goal in mind. Students are placed in accelerated classes upon meeting the required skill pre-requisites and Director approval.

ADVANCED T&T - USAG Level 4, 5 & 6


Ages 10-15 Years

  

This class is for recreational students between the ages of 10 - 15 who have mastered the Level 3 curriculum. Advanced level skills and basic competitive routines are introduced. Students may receive an invitation to the Team OC Competitive T&T Team from this class.

EXCEL - USAG Level 2


Ages 6-8 Years

  

This class is for students between the ages of 6-8 who demonstrate potential for future team placement. This program is fast paced and covers the USAG Levels 1-4 curriculum. Drills for Advanced level skills and basic pre-competitive routines are introduced. Students may receive an invitation to the Team OC T&T Pre- Team from this class.

Dress Code

For safety purposes, proper attire is required to be worn during all T&T class and practice sessions held at Team OC. Team OC is a co-ed facility.

Female Students: Leotard, cotton ankle socks, bike or cheer-type shorts. Hair must be secured away from face with elastic hair bands and flap hair clips if necessary.

Male Students: Stretchable athletic shorts (length above the knees) with an appropriate stretchable undergarment, t-shirt, cotton ankle socks.

To maintain modesty and avoid embarrassment, please assist your child with his/her choice of attire and undergarments prior to class participation
